Shawnda Bishop (front right) Originator and Director of Clog America for over 20 years, presented a cheque for 250 euros to Ellen Vriniotis. Ellen is an ACS ( American Community School of Athens) faculty member in Psychology and Academic/Counselling including Humanitarian and Contemporary Problems. Gifts included handmade quilts, stuffed animals,crayons, pencil sets, notebooks, clothing, toys and other educational items. The gifts came from Clog America as well as from children of LDS Primaries, and Eagle Scouts in the South Jordan, Utah, USA area. They are intended for those suffering from the devastating fires in 2007 in Greece, also called at ACS, "The Village Project". Quilts and gifts were also presented to the children from the Greek Centre for Missing and Exploited Children:The Smile of a Child, directed by Maggie Lazaridis. Nine children were able to attend, and following the performance they were invited onto the stage to accept the gifts. Thank you one and all for brightening our day and for making the children smile.
