Sister Lelle spoke so eloquently and with heartfelt gratitude for her opportunity to be in the service of the Lord. We love her so much and will miss seeing her dear face. Sister Lena Doranio of the Acropoli Branch is pictured with Sister Lelle in the bottom right picture.
The time has come to say goodbye to our lovely Sister Lelle. It was wonderful to have Elder Fingerle of the Area 70 join with us. This in fact happened last Friday but we delayed blogging as she wanted to surprise some family members at a thanksgiving gathering.

While we read and bore testimonies to one another a flock of birds flew overhead and swirled about the sky. As my eyes and heart turned heavenward I was filled with a gladness and a hope of great things yet to be. Not to be forgotten, our trip to Souvlaki Kiffisia for some Greek food.
Sunday 21st November 2010 Acropoli Branch and Halandri Branch met together for a conference presided over by Elder Fingerle our Area 70. There was a sweet spirit in attendance and Elder Fingerle's message seemed to speak to each of us personally. A day of celebration for Acropoli as Tassos is ordained an Elder.

Met with the Thessalonians for interviews and some specialist training. What a band of missionaries. To be in their presence was a joy and a comfort. They exude a confidence in the Lord and His work that is beautiful to behold. How did Elder and Sister Shute escape the blog camera?? Will get them next time!

On Monday the 8th. November we visited the Kykkos Monastery in the Troodos Mountains. The monastery was built around the end of the 11th. century by the Byzantine Emperor Alexis Komnenus. It is 1318 metres high in the north west of Troodos. It was a wonderful day out because we were with people that we truly love and who mean so much to us.

Powerful testimonies borne by powerful people. Sister Simmons and Sister Braaksma will be companions for this transfer and Elders Stulen and Wu are also companions. Elder Yates and Sister Gallagher will meet up with their companions in Cyprus on Thursday.
A sweet and peaceful feeling was felt today on Mars Hill. You can see that we read Acts 17 in Greek. We are always so impressed with those who read and how good their accents are. As we made our way down some contacting was done and pass along cards were handed out.
