Arrived Safely 31st August 2010.

We arrived at Athens airport along with Elder and Sister Andros, the Assistants and the Trainers. Standing at the barrier waiting for the new missionaries to come through is always an exciting moment. All I could hear was "we have seen them already", " are they coming"
"can you see them" and then finally "they're here!" They looked so good to our eyes, how blessed we are to have Elders Leit, Psota, Held, Kopischke, Stelter and Smith join us in the Greece Athens Mission.

Sister Lelle and I had a tough assignment when we invited this passerby to stop and talk. Despite his adamant protestations Sister Lelle managed to share with him the blessings of the Book of Mormon.

Elder Fingerle and President Neil Visit Athens.

We had the great privilege of having Elder Fingerle our area 70 and President Neil Mission President for Albania come to visit. Saturday was spent in meetings involving these two brethren and President Charles. On Sunday they were kind enough to speak in Halandri Branch. We all enjoyed the meeting and feeling of the Spirit that they brought to us in the Mission. How generously they give of their time and their talents, we felt truly blessed. The top left picture shows the Presidents in a role play situation with Elder Fingerle.

Role Playing and Fish and Chips!!

The role playing throughout the 4 days proved to be most beneficial. Each group rotated between President Charles, Elder Mortensen and myself. As the week progressed more and more of the principles taught were brought into the role play situations. Elder Steeby knowing of our desire to have some fish and chips 'English ' style knew of a place and was able to track it down. We were not disappointed! My husband is enjoying himself so much he wouldn't even look up for the picture.

Elders Mortensen and Rodriguez arriving to open up the building ready for a leadership session. It was so hot and humid that we were melting just stepping out of the car. How amazing they are to cycle and wear their safety helmets.
