Spot the two who really are having a 5 minute nap. We have all worked very hard and have enjoyed being together.
It has been an amazing few days. We are impressed with the missionary force here in Cyprus. Every single missionary is filled with faith and a desire to serve the Lord. They have spoken with power and authority, and they truly trust in the Lord. Their words have filled our hearts with joy.
Elder Lauener is the Zone leader in Cyprus. (top left) He did a great job on the Friday session summarising Stephen R Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. Bottom left is Elder Muurling, he is the District Leader. He had his birthday while we there there, the cake was absolutely delicious.
This a wonderful picture of Elder Mossner, Will, Jack and Elder Leit. Will and Jack have willingly embraced gospel truths and were baptised just a few weeks ago. It is a great joy to welcome such valiant souls into the fold of God.

Mars Hill with Elder Mortensen. The Athens sky seemed to be in sympathy with us as we said goodbye. Clouds formed, and the soft rain mingled with our tears as we bore testimony and sang our song of farewell. Elder Mortensen shared a poignant story written by his grandfather called The Little Blue Flower. We bid him God speed into the arms of his family.
Kabore Moussa was baptised tonight by Elder Stulen. Brother Moussa is French speaking and was previously taught by Elders Gaillard and Stulen and then when Elder Gaillard was transferrred Elder Wells joined the teaching team. Our new brother has a humble spirit but his joy shines out of his eyes.
There was a great spirit at the Young Adult Conference which clearly affected everyone there and built testimonies. There were a variety of activities ranging from the temporal-Money Management to the spiritual- Putting my Trust in God. Elder Fingerle played a prominent part with his spiritual presentations. Young adults attended from as far away as Thessaloniki. There was much laughter and tears of joy as we mingled together. There was a dance class, a dating and courtship panel discussion, job search workshop and so much more.
Elder Mortensen has finished the course of his mission and attends his Leonidas Lunch. We were privileged to have visiting with us Elder Christian H Fingerle our Area Seventy. The testimony meeting after lunch was an emotional one, Elder Mortensen is truly loved by all of us in the Greece Athens Mission.

Elders Stulen and Wells were involved in the teaching of Steve who was baptised by Elder Wells at the Halandri Chapel. After his baptism Steve bore testimony of the Book of Mormon and the strength it gave him. Baptisms are always so special. I love to see a child of God enter the fold, and it never fails to bring back sweet memories of our own baptisms in 1975.
