As we were attending Mission Presidents' Seminar in Germany we were able to be with with them at this momentous occasion. The tender mercies of the Lord are truly manifest in our lives. Are they trying to tell us something?

Spot the two who really are having a 5 minute nap. We have all worked very hard and have enjoyed being together.
It has been an amazing few days. We are impressed with the missionary force here in Cyprus. Every single missionary is filled with faith and a desire to serve the Lord. They have spoken with power and authority, and they truly trust in the Lord. Their words have filled our hearts with joy.

Mars Hill with Elder Mortensen. The Athens sky seemed to be in sympathy with us as we said goodbye. Clouds formed, and the soft rain mingled with our tears as we bore testimony and sang our song of farewell. Elder Mortensen shared a poignant story written by his grandfather called The Little Blue Flower. We bid him God speed into the arms of his family.

Baptisms are always so special. I love to see a child of God enter the fold, and it never fails to bring back sweet memories of our own baptisms in 1975.
