Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Elder Rahal. You can tell just by looking into his face, that he is a missionary of great love and goodness. How blessed we are to know such a fine son of God.

Nicosia, Cyprus.

The missionaries here are wonderful and full of faith, they have a strong desire to serve the Lord. When we listen to them express those feelings that they have within their hearts, our own hearts soar in response.

Time To Stretch!

I don't think President Charles warned anyone that he was going to take a picture.

A New Baby For Thessaloniki.

In the main picture with his mama Manuela, is baby Petros. He is absolutely adorable and already loved by the members of this dear branch. Manuela was delighted to meet the sisters newly transferred to Thessaloniki.

Congratulations!

We had an opportunity to attend Acropoli chapel to extend our good wishes to the newly weds, Mr and Mrs Norgaard. Brother Norgaard is the brother of  a dear missionary who serves here in the Greece Athens Mission. It was lovely to watch them together, as they looked so happy.

Athens Mission Council.

We rejoiced and were filled with hope as we listened to these fine leaders counsel together. They have made their plans, and are desirious to serve and strengthen in their areas of responsibility.

President Charles in Full Flow.

We enjoyed listening to President Charles as he shared more gems from Mission Presidents' Seminar. He reminded us to never miss an opportunity to invite one of Heavenly Father's children to listen to their message.

Role Playing and Learning.

Top right picture sees Elder Baake looking a little concerned about the cheesey grin from Elder Smith.  I love these pictures, they make me smile. Sister Sallo in the middle of the bottom left picture, has just started a mini mission and will be serving in Thessaloniki.

Lunch is Served!

Thank you to Elders Antonopoulos and Yates for preparing  lunch. They had a great system going preparing 55 sandwiches in 20 minutes. Is this a record??  They were also really quite delicious.

In Safe Hands.

As we look around and see these faith filled missionaries our hearts rejoice. We continue to go forward with strength, how blessed we are.

At The Airport.

I absolutely love this picture. The scripture that comes to mind talks about our hearts being knit together in love. Our service together has created an unbreakable bond. Kali sinexia yia panta.

Testimonies.

Each of these wonderful missionaries bore strong powerful testimonies of their love of the gospel, and for the people, and their fellow missionaries. We are happy that they are returning to their beloved families, but they will be missed by so many here in Athens, Thessaloniki and Cyprus.

Mars Hill.

Some photos taken before the testimony meeting. It was a beautiful sunny day, I think Ralph (member of the Halandri branch) is surrendering to the inevitability of being captured for the blog.

Happy Family.

Sister Jenny Sallo is in the middle of this photo with her mother and sister Stella. She will be serving her mission in Thessaloniki. They will miss her very much, but they are so happy and proud of her.
