A Wonderful Visit.

We were so happy to visit the Damaris Orphanage today with Elder and Sister Elks. They had made contact with this group, and through the Church's Humanitarian Fund much needed items have been purchased. We hope to have an ongoing relationship of service with this lovely home.
The Director of the orphanage, works with unfailing energy and love to provide for these precious daughters of God.

Thank you!

What a wonderful surprise. Thank you everyone for such lovely gifts. The book that President Charles is hoplding up is 'The 3 Little Pigs'. This made us laugh because the restaurant that we frequent as missionaries is loving referred to as 'The 3 Pigs'  The missionaries have written lovely messages of farewell inside the book.

Outside Souvlaki Kiffisia.

We were so glad to see David Steeby again and to meet up with his wonderful parents.  Our love for him has not diminished, and we felt gratitude to his parents for the sacrifice they made for his service here.

Happy Reunion!

For old times sake we went back for a meal at Souvlaki Kiffisia. We had such a lovely time reminiscing and rejoicing in each others company. Susan was an avid follower of the blog, and to my great delight would leave comments of love and encouragement.

What a Great Picture!

Thank you Elder Collier for sending this over it really is a fabulous picture. Elder Collier sent it with this message, "This will only be a one off, otherwise the sheep will not give any more wool" I think this one looks pretty comfortable, and also getting a good view of the surrounding countryside.

Smiling Through The Tears.

Serving in Thessaloniki are Elders Stelter and Kopischke, Sisters Virkamaki and Sallo and Elder and Sister Collier. It tugged at our heartstrings to sing our farewell 'God Be With You Till We Meet Again'. We have had great joy in serving alongside such amazing people, and know that our association is an eternal one.
