Halandri Sisters.

Our lovely Sister Dolly (far left) was feeling poorly today, she was leaning away so as not to share those pesky germs. We love her, her thoughtfulness throughout the day was especially sweet.

Clean Monday Activity.

We couldn't fly kites because the weather was so awful, but Elder Loynes had organised an activity were we had to fly an egg. We were given some items to construct a safe haven for the egg. It was a good way to bring us all together, as we focused on how to use all the tools that we had been given.

Clean Monday Activity..

The Acropoli and Halandri branches got together to celebrate Kathara Deftera. The fasting period before Easter starts on Clean Monday and lasts for 40 days. People like to spend this day outdoors if possible enjoying a picnic in the country and flying kites. The kite symbolises the soul of man who is made to 'fly' in heaven. Some others say that we fly a kite in order to send away all bad things, and so to prepare for Purification.

Companionship Study With The Assistants.

Here are Elders Held and Antonopoulos with President Charles. It is always wonderful to sit with missionaries as they study together. They spoke about Matthew Chapter 5 and the Beatitudes. Elder Held had been pondering upon these, and wondered what it would be like to have each of these attributes in wholeness.
