At The Office.

It was a hive of activity at the office, with interviews, and auditing, and planning ahead. An army marches on its stomach they say- our march is made all the more enjoyable by the company that we keep..

A New Friend Comes To Visit.

Brother Alan Tong is here to audit the Greece Athens Mission. This is always done before a new Mission President and wife arrive.

Young Single Adult Council.

We attended the YSA Council with Daniela, Karim, Maria and Kira. Sister Mower conducted and we spoke about visits that had been made and reviewed successes and challenges. Plans had been drawn up and were discussed for the YSA Conference for the 23rd June. This Council has vision and love for their brothers and sisters, our hearts are warmed to feel of their good spirits.

Acropoli Pot Luck.

We had a wonderful Sabbath with the members of the Acropoli Branch. They are full of faith and good works, and we are strengthened by our association with them. Just have to mention for the eagle eyed among you that President Charles needed to give his tie to someone, hence the more casual look.

Elder Mower with Paul.

Elder Mower had the privilege of baptising Paul, there was such a warm family spirit in attendance. Sister Sankoh spoke on the Gift of The Holy Ghost, and said that if we continue to endure to the end, we will not be lost. She told us that the Holy Ghost can fill us with hope and a perfect love.

Baptism of Paul Koomson.

Paul was taught the gospel by Elders Leit and Stevens and was baptised on Saturday May 12, 2012 at the Halandri Chapel. Brother Koomson will be attending the Acropoli Branch. Elder Leit gave a talk on baptism, as he spoke,the entire time Paul was nodding his head in agreement. Elder Leit said that everything was made possible through Jesus Christ.

So Good To See You Again!

Sister Kira Lily served in the Greece Athens Mission in 2009, when we first arrived. She is sharing with her husband Mac, all the beauties of the people, and the places that she came to love. It was so lovely to see her again, she truly radiates the light of the gospel. As we observed Mac and Kira together, we rejoiced to see such a great team. Our lives have been blessed by their visit.

Missionaries Return To Greece.

How blessed we were to meet Daniel and Anjeanette Pout and their two lovely children Aidan and Eliana. Daniel and Anjeanette, maiden name Bowman served in the Greece Athens Mission over 10 years ago. We had other visitors too who had served here, it was wonderful to hear their testimonies and all in Greek. Our hearts go out to these whose shoulders we stand on.

Alina By The Waters Edge.

Alina was baptised by Elder Psota in the beautiful Mediterranean sea.

Baptism in Limassol.

 Alina was taught the gospel by Sisters Roberts and Almeida and she was baptised on May 2nd. 2012. Alina who is from India was so eager to learn the gospel and couldn't be taught fast enough.

Today we practised numbers.  Elders Yates and Antonopoulos made the lesson such fun that learning seemed quite easy.
