Yummy Desserts.
Here I am in the bottom right picture displaying one of the many delicious treats. It looked so good I thought I should have a picture of it. In fact I wanted to impress you all with my baking abilities!! I also now confess that Sister Bell was the creator of this impressive dessert.
Still at the Mission Home!
Elder Steeby (bottom left) tries a different pose for each picture he is in. This is his "please don't get in the way of the food" pose.
What a Wonderful Evening!
We enjoyed an evening together that was truly satisfying to the soul. We ate well, we exchanged gifts, we sang carols. One of the highlights of the evening was watching excerpts from the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Presentation. This was the one with bells as the theme. What music, what visual beauty the whole thing was amazing. Sister Ollerton told us the origins of the hymn Silent Night and then we sang this beautiful song. A perfect evening.

Great Presentations.
Still at Athens Zone Conference, I thought I should include these to prove that we just didn't spend the time eating!! Elder Ollerton reminded us about the importance of having a daily multi vitamin and mineral supplement. They are crucial to helping our missionaries maintain good physical and mental health. We have been taught well and have much to do with the many invitations to improve.
Birthday Package.
Elder Gaillard happy to get his birthday package. He was so kind earlier in the day sharing some chocolate biscuits that he had made.
We really did have a spiritual conference!!
I have just realised that most of the pictures are of eating pizza and yummy biscuits. Sister Braaksma trying to get a bite of sister Simmons treat. Elder Stulen shows his Christmas Wreath of Sweets, what a great idea.
A Labour of Love.
Thank you Sister Stulen for the Christmas biscuits, they looked so beautiful and tasted delicious. Sister Stulen had decorated a biscuit for every missionary. A real labour of love.
Athens Zone Conference 23 December 2010

Baptism of Dimitrios.
Dimitrios Sotirios Tsolakis was baptised on the 11th December 2010 by Elder Smith. The baptismal prayer was said in Greek. Dimitrios grew up in Zimbabwe, his mother is Cypriot and his father Greek. In Elder Mossner's words " Dimitrios is just great"
Carol Singing.
Time for a quick practice after Zone Conference, and then it is off to sing tidings of comfort and joy.
Watching the Movie.
We watched Narnia which at times had Elder Deeley on the edge of his seat. President Charles said he was meditating on the deeper levels of this film!!
