Thessaloniki Zone Conference

Thessaloniki zone conference was absolutely delightful! Elder and Sister Johnson did everything in their power to make it a special event. As you can see in the photo, their family were visiting and the children brought a wonderful spirit to the meeting. We got to visit the Stilo family and were involved in a teaching opportunity with Elder Middleton and Elder Potter. We are all looking forward to the baptism of Fotis, the father of the family, which will be a great joy to the other members of the family who are all baptized.

On the road to Thessaloniki, we stopped off at Thermopylae. This place symbolizes courage against all odds. Elder Hickey stands in front of the Leonidas statue. He and all our missionaries preach the gospel with courage in the face of many challenges.

Athens Zone Conference September 8th 2009

The best bit about Zone Conference, is seeing all the dear faces of our beloved missionaries all gathered together.
We spoke about the 4th Article of Faith. Sister Taylor gave a presentation about The Food Pyramid and planning healthy meals. President Taylor spoke about the care of apartments ( rubber gloves were needed for part of this!!!) . We felt the Spirit at each presentation and hope something of the message will sink into our souls.
